چکیده
Background: Dermatophytosis was a fungal infection caused by molds (dermatophytes). Dermatophytes are group of closely related filamentous fungi able to damage and utilize keratin found in the skin, hair, nails. Objective: To isolate species which cause resistant dermatophytosis, clinical types tinea, as well assess response different antifungal therapies.
Patients Methods: Ninety-two patients with tinea infections (ringworm) were seen private clinic Baquba city for period from May 2021 December 2021, they (42) females (50) males, their ages ranged (7-70) years mean age (27.57±8) years. All diagnosed clinically ringworm supported isolation samples either direct examination or cultures on Sabouraud media, treated combination therapy systemic topical terbinafine azole (itraconazole capsules) (1-3) months.
Results: complained widespread concomitant tinea. The most common causative dermatophytes Epidermopyton floccosum (44%) Trichophyton rubrum (22%), less commonly Microsporum audouinii (9.8%), others Table (1). type pedis (29.3%) then cruris (26.1%), corporis (22.8%), ungum (20.7%) (2).
cured (terbinafine itraconazole) (terbinafine). Five (5.4%) showed relapses disease after discontinuation retreated same method.
Conclusion: Epidermophyton Terbinafine itraconazole good therapeutic options treatment

Ketoconazole in griseofulvin-resistant dermatophytosis.
The efficacy of ketoconazole was evaluated in twenty patients with chronic dermatophyte infections who had failed to clear with griseofulvin therapy. Trichophyton rubrum was the causative organism in nineteen of the patients, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes in one patient. Three of twelve organisms tested showed in vitro resistance to griseofulvin. Duration of infection ranged from 2 to 28 year...

[No Abstract] Nocardia is a genus of weakly gram-positive, filamentous, aerobic, relatively slow-growing and partially acid-fast bacteria. These bacteria are ubiquities in environmental resources such as water, soil, dust, decomposing animal feces, and vegetables. This group of bacteria can enter the human body through inhalation and traumatic cutaneous inoculation and cause Nocardia infection...
